An Experiment Dual Tubed Crosman 1377 MSP Pistol
Work to date on an experimental multistroke pistol featuring dual pressure tubes that supply air to a shared barrel. The design uses a pair of factory sears linked by a common trigger inside of a custom made housing. A custom breech will be made which serves as a manifold routing the compressed air from the tubes into the barrel's inlet port. A large caliber barrel will be mounted in order to efficiently utilize the higher volume of air that is available. The stock's design will be similar to that of a silhouette pistol yet will uniquely function as the pistol's "pump handle" in order to reduce pumping force by increasing leverage while minimizing the overall pistol length. A crude "proof-of-concept" frame was fabricated and tested to 8 pump strokes. The results were very encouraging. The design yielded an extremely manageable and comfortable level of pumping effort even at full compression.
